Tracy Barbour, MSM, CeM

Tracy Barbour, the principal of Barbour Creative Solutions, has almost 35 years of professional editing, writing, marketing, advertising, research and public relations experience. She has a Master of Science Degree in Management from Austin Peay State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications/Journalism from Eastern New Mexico University. In addition, she has completed a Microsoft/LinkedIn certification in Career Essentials in Generative AI, which covers artificial intelligence, generative AI and computer ethics. Tracy is also certified in online marketing by the eMarketing Association in the areas of search engine marketing/optimization, web content writing and development, web site marketing, ecommerce, email marketing, link marketing, internet marketing ethics, and online advertising through pay-per-click and sponsored links.

Tracy’s professional background includes working as an assistant director of public relations for Alaska’s largest locally owned bank, First National Bank Alaska, and as a marketing/advertising specialist for Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska. As a journalist, Tracy has worked as a business reporter for Alaska’s former leading daily newspaper, the Anchorage Daily News, and has held staff writer/reporter positions at newspapers in New Mexico and Tennessee. Currently, Tracy is a regular contributor to Alaska Business Magazine, where she enjoys crafting fair, balanced and informative articles about technology, banking/finance, insurance, marketing and education. As a freelance journalist, Tracy employs various information gathering and writing skills, including researching, interviewing, data analysis, translating complex concepts for different audiences, and fact checking for accuracy. In addition to writing hundreds of by-lined articles in compliance with Associated Press Style, mass media laws and copyright laws, Tracy is the published author of several books.

Ronald Barbour

Ronald Barbour heads the company’s finance, business development, research and press release distribution departments. Ron has 30-plus years of broad experience and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Occupational Education/Corporate Training and Development from Wayland Baptist University. His professional expertise includes personal finance, investing, business management, sales, marketing, lead management, presentations, advertising and promotions.

A retired U.S. Air Force training manager and recruiter, Ron has extensive experience in education, training, and marketing. During his military career, he garnered the Training Manager of the Year, NCO of the Month, and numerous Overachiever and Excellent Performance awards. Ron also has earned various certificates in leadership, sales, training and education. Ron is also a published author who enjoys writing about various topics through social media.
